Mission/Vision Statement:

Forward Edge International exists to mobilize ordinary people to share Christ's love with those affected by poverty, disaster and sickness in the U.S. and around the world.

Since 1983, more than 10,000 people have discovered extraordinary purpose through serving with Forward Edge in many parts of the U.S. and 34 nations.

Doctrinal Statement:

We believe in God the Father, who through Christ created heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, sinless in this life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His high-priestly intercession for His people that they may experience full salvation and the indwelling presence of Christ. We believe in His personal, visible return to earth according to His promise.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, Himself God, and sent to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, and to regenerate, sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners, but that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. We believe that those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior will rejoice in God's presence for eternity, and that those who refuse to accept Him will be forever separated from God.

We believe that the Bible is God's Word, divinely and uniquely inspired, absolutely trustworthy, and having supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

We believe in the Church, the body of Christ of which Christ Himself is the Head, and of which all regenerated people are members. We believe that Christ commissioned the Church to proclaim the gospel in all the world, to encourage believers in the faith, and to teach and train believers in the principles of godly, fruitful living.

We believe that every human being is responsible before God in all matters of faith.

Footnote: Because Forward Edge is called to serve and build up the body of Christ, we choose to "major in the majors" and "minor in the minors" in matters of doctrine. We do not focus on divisive theology that might separate us from other believers and impede the spread of the gospel. Rather, we seek to practice the biblical unity of the brethren so that the world without Christ might be reached.

The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest fields.
